What  We  Do

Dr. CGK Foundation, Inc. provides motivation, information and financial resources to help Greater Houston Area single mothers in low-to-median-income households start or continue their higher educational journey that culminates in a college degree from an accredited college or university. Provisions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• guidance on choosing reputable and accredited schools that fit their educational goals on the basis of duration, cost and location;

• assistance with completing college applications, FAFSA, and other college-related forms;

​​

• tuition assistance through our Queen Scholarship program to ease the financial burden associated with attaining a college degree, including funds earmarked for STEM-related studies;

​​

• motivation and mentorship through real-life testimonials;

​

• support to manage stressors associated with career decisions, performance anxiety, life transitions and navigating change;

​​

• answers to general inquiries regarding the overall college process.
