THE 2024 QUEEN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Thank you for your interest in the Dr. CGK Foundation Queen Scholarship Program! This program honors the uncrowned heroes, otherwise known as single mothers, who are living in underserved communities in the Greater Houston Area. This program provides financial assistance to pursue a college degree.
Each year, we select multiple recipients to receive scholarships between $500 - $3,000 per recipient.
Winners are selected by the Scholarship Selection Committee. Awards are for studies towards an associate degree, associate of applied science degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctoral degree; and must be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Awards can be used across multiple semesters in succession until the funds are depleted, provided a grade of "C" or better is maintained. Funds will be paid directly to educational institutions only and will be applied to the recipient's account after grant funding (if applicable). Funding not used for two consecutive semesters will render the scholarship void, and funds will return to our organization for future scholarships.
Recipients will be honored at our annual Queen Scholarship Awards Ceremony. Attendance is required.
